N scale WWII

When I first saw some 10mm/12mm/N scale World War II vehicles, I really liked them. I think that this is a great scale for WWII when using more than a couple of vehicles on a side. On an 8’ by 4’ table, you can have quite a large battle that looks good. Currently I game this scale using modified Mein Panzer rules. It is a good game, but has a ton of detail that slows things down if you use it all, so by streamlining some areas and getting rid of some of the minutia, the game plays quicker while still being a good representative game. My German forces cover pretty much the entire war and consist of: Pzkw 38(t), various Panzer III’s and IV’s, Panthers, Tigers, various half-tracks for a panzergrenadier company and supporting elements, 37mm, 50mm, 75mm, and 88mm AT guns, StuG III’s (both the ‘B’ and ‘G’ versions), Jagdpanzer IV’s, and 222 and 234/1 armored cars.
Early-war and Late-war British in Europe are next!
